An old fan of Pokemon who watched all 24 Seasons again within two months.
It's been 15 years since I have been watching Pokemon and to make sure I don't miss any details I have played all the pokemon games except for Pokemon Sword and Shield and all the spin-offs of the series. After doing this much of addicted following I now feel quite experienced to give out my reviews on the episodes. Well, enough of my introduction now let's dive into the review.

'Under Colour Of Darkness!' Is the 18th episode of 'Pokemon Master Journeys: The Sreies' and the latest episode to be released in English in Canada on 9th October 2021.

The episode starts with Ash and Goh spraying water on their grass-type pokemons when Goh's Flabebes passe by them forcing Ash and Goh to follow them where they evolve into Floettes. But, to their surprise, the white flower Flabebe was missing. Ash and Goh find it far behind struggling to float with a broken flower petal. This makes Ash and Goh once again visit the Kalos region to find a new flower for it. After a hard struggle of few days and with help of Prof. Cerise and a local flower lab who owned an orange flower Florges who also once suffered the same way as of Flabebe making it sympathetic towards Falbebe. The reason why flower couldn't be found was that the white flower buds are pink and bloom at night turning them to white.

Well till here the story was quite obvious that a tiny cute pokemon loses it's flower and the owner starts a journey to find a new one for it and ultimately after a long struggle and some mysteries he finds it. The twist comes here when Goh decides to free his Flabebe. Well, the reason behind this was the Florgess they met at the flower lab who used the move 'Grassy Terain' to make Flabebe happy. Much like Goh's Sobble who got impressed by Intelleon's 'Snipe Shot', Goh's Flabebe also got inspired by the grassy terrain making it evolve into Floette who with the help of the move grassy terrain regrows the white flower buds to help other Floettes in providing them with a white flower. This makes Goh feel that his Floette wants to create a flower field of her own for which he must release it and hence leaving the show with a sorrowful but a happy ending.

Now what I felt in the begining was that its just an ordinary story as I said above but didn't expected such a sudden twist where Goh free's his Floette. I really don't understand why does Pokemon creates a sudden strong bond between its trainer and then makes him leave it all in the same episode making viers and fans like me swim in an ocean of emotions and tears. Well this episode was a perfect blend of emotional, funny and joyful moments. Overall I loved the episode but it didn't packed a punch like a few other episodes like Episode 17 'Thrash Of The Titans' but this keeps on going in a series where some episodes go dull and some make the viewrs amazed and thrilled. Also, I have left many loop holes in the above synopsis so that your thrill dose't die if you haven't watched it yet, so make sure to watch it for complete story.

I'll be adding to this blog every Sunday so make sure you follow me and leave your comments on the blog and the topic too so that we can keep this blog alive like Pokemon for a long period of time ;).
